Royal Oak Beer Festival - Real Ale Beer List - 20 & 21 August 2022

17 Ales + Real Ciders from Wilkins & Wild Cider Company

Cotswold Lion - Drovers Return 5% - Ruby coloured premium bitter, full of malt and fruit flavours.

Stroud - OPA 4% - Clean, golden session pale ale with hints of red apple from organic Wakatu and Taiheke (formally Cascade) hops from New Zealand. Cara and crystal malt add a balanced biscuity malt backbone. Organic.

Uley - Taverner 4.5% - A full flavoured and hoppy palate balanced by underlying fruit. This copper coloured beer is smooth, long and very refreshing.

Donnington - BB 3.6% - A pleasant amber bitter with a slight hop aroma, a good balance of malt and hops in the mouth and a bitter aftertaste.

Goffs - Jouster 4% - A well balanced all English hopped best bitter with a gentle hoppy aroma and a malty finish.

Gun - Chummy Bluster 4.4% - Vegan, Gluten Free - It's the style that defines English Beer. That to some is simply 'real ale'. It is of course Best Bitter. This beer was inspired by the tradition of Sussex Bonfire - Evocative memories of crisp Autumnal nights, pint of Sussex Best in hand, the smell of smoke, bangers, anarchy and flaming torches heavy in the air.

Marble - Manchester Bitter 4.2% - Our most traditional core beer is inspired by a Manchester stalwart; a fondly-remembered original. Speciality malt gives the deep golden colour and robust base, balanced by crisp bitterness and a floral, lemony aroma. MAIN HOPS: CASCADE, EKUANOT, HS EXP

Quantock - Seek and Find -

Redemption Brewing Co. - Urban Dusk 4.6% - Chestnut coloured premium bitter with malts providing coffee aromas and some hazelnut and caramel on the palate while bramling cross hops offer some dark fruit flavours. Citrus notes and an earthy bitterness lasts into the finish.

Churchend - Stout Coffin 4.6% - Black, chewy and creamy. A first class example of what a stout should be.

Battle - Alan The Red - Rye Ale 4.4% - Vegan Friendly - Alan the Red (Alain le Roux) was the red-bearded Earl of Richmond & Commander of the Breton vanguard during the Norman Conquest of 1066. In this ruby beer, Rye adds a dry spicy character to the caramel malt body and fruity hop flavours. Malts: Maris Otter, Rye, Crystal, Munich, Roasted Barley. Hops: Simcoe, Chinook & Cascade UK

By The Horns - Hopadelic 4.3% - A tripped out psychedelic journey through the juicy delights of new world hops; this kaleidoscope of Citra, Summit & Cascade American hops offer waves of tropical fruit flavours with notes of mango, peach and citrus to dance on your palate. Far out man! Far out.

Oakham - Endless Summer 3.4% - UK, New Zealand and USA sourced hops combine beautifully as this light and refreshing summer beer begins with fruity aromas and flavours before surfing an endless wave of bitterness. A perennial Oakham favourite with quite remarkable depth and complexity of aroma and flavour for the ABV.

Vale Of Glamorgan - VPA - Classic Welsh pale, refreshing & spicy.

Well Drawn - Providence Pale 4.5% - A modern East coast fruity pale, bursting with Simcoe and Citra.

True North - Blonde 4.0% - A golden ale all about easy drinking. Smooth vanilla and floral flavours, low on bitterness and lightly dry hopped for a fresh aroma.

Lucifer's Brewhouse -
